The Final 2023 Report of the Study on consumer education initiatives in EU Member States evaluates consumer education initiatives implemented by EU member states, focusing on their effectiveness, scope, and impact. It aims to provide insights into how these initiatives help consumers make informed choices and protect their rights in the marketplace. In addition, it highlights successful approaches and strategies in consumer education, and also provides guidance for improving and expanding consumer education efforts.  

 

The study gathered information through surveys, interviews, and desk research from various stakeholders, including government agencies, consumer organizations, and educational institutions.

 

The report concludes that while there are many positive developments in consumer education across the EU, there is still room for improvement.
