Developed collaboratively by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and Accenture, the ‘Water Roadmap for Travel & Tourism’ offers an in-depth analysis of water usage in the travel and tourism sector globally and regionally from 2010 to 2021. Published on December 4, 2023, the report details global water consumption, highlights regional and country-specific variations, outlines the risks of poor water management, and provides recommendations for tourism companies and institutions to reduce water usage and enhance water resilience. It also includes examples of best practices. The report is available for free with registration.
