Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) programme started in 2020 and provides travel agencies and destinations with a practical toolset for implementing sustainable practices. It makes it possible for Finland's regions and businesses to systematically incorporate sustainable practices into their daily operations. The seven-step process for developing sustainable tourism, which is supported by global standards, leads users through dedication, skill development, and continuous improvement. Businesses and locations who receive the STF label are eligible for marketing assistance, increased visibility, and chances for ongoing development. The STF initiative helps create a tourism industry that is socially, economically, and environmentally responsible by placing a high priority on sustainability.
