As part of the EU’s efforts to promote multimodal travel, the European Commission adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/1926 in 2017. This regulation focuses on the provision of EU-wide multimodal travel information services. Its primary goal is to ensure that travellers across the EU have access to reliable, up-to-date, and interoperable information on various modes of transport—such as road, rail, air, and water—enabling them to plan and undertake their journeys more seamlessly.
Follow the attached link to read our detailed post on this legislation and learn about one of the steps the EU has taken towards enabling seamless multimodal ticketing across Europe.
