The Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced that the government has created all the necessary conditions for a new era in tourism management. Minister Tonči Glavina and Croatian Tourist Board Director Kristjan Staničić presented the tourism and financial results for the first eight months of 2024. They highlighted a 4% increase in arrivals and a 1% increase in overnight stays compared to the same period last year. The government aims to focus on sustainable tourism development and address challenges such as the oversupply of accommodation capacities (The original piece available only in Croatian).
