The Pays de la Loire Region, a regional authority in France, has developed a roadmap for the region's energy transition, which includes a strong commitment to ecomobility. As part of this commitment, the authority pledges to make 100% of regional destinations accessible by green means of transport (soft or collective mobility) and 0% exclusively accessible by individual car by 2030. This initiative seeks to enhance transport offerings and soft mobility for tourists, provide travellers with new experiences (e.g., car-free travel, boat trips), and better distribute tourist flows across the region.
