Seamless journeys by train across Europe may soon become a reality, driven by a unified digital platform and new EU-supported regulations. According to Travel Tomorrow, Germany's national railway operator, Deutsche Bahn (DB), is developing a digital system aimed at simplifying international rail bookings for travellers. Meanwhile, the European Commission is preparing legislation to ensure that all 27 EU member states enforce mandatory passenger rights for rebooking and reimbursement.
To learn more about these initiatives designed to simplify travel across Europe’s diverse national rail networks, please follow the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform.
