Discover how the Travel Foundation and the TUI Care Foundation collaborated to explore ways to enhance the relationship between the tourism sector and local communities in Croatian destinations. Through their initiatives, destination councils were created, including representatives from 26 public and private sector organisations. Business owners reported an 11% increase in hotel guest visits to the villages, with 53% noting increased sales, among other advantages.
