As new mobility services continue to transform urban passenger transport systems, local authorities face the challenge of understanding their benefits and mitigating potential negative impacts. The International Transport Forum (ITF), dedicated to enhancing the role of transport in economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion, has released a report to guide this process. This report offers practical recommendations on how cities can classify and measure new mobility, enriched with real-world insights from ten cities worldwide—highlighting successes, challenges, and key takeaways.
