Check out the European Union's latest regulation aimed at creating a reliable and harmonised methodology for estimating flight emissions. The Flight Emissions Label (FEL) will consider factors like aircraft type, passenger numbers, freight volume, and aviation fuel. This common methodology will allow airlines and ticket sellers to report comparable emission levels, protecting passengers from misleading greenwashing claims.
