Portugal has been ranked among the top 10 destinations with the highest increase in demand from German tourists for this autumn, showing a 5% rise in travel interest compared to the same period last year.

Portugal has been ranked among the top 10 destinations with the highest increase in demand from German tourists for this autumn. According to a recent study by Mabrian, Portugal saw a 5% rise in travel interest from Germans compared to the same period last year. This growth is notable despite a general trend among German travelers towards long-haul destinations. The study also highlighted that while traditional Mediterranean destinations remain popular, there is a growing interest in alternative mid-range destinations (The original piece available only in Portuguese).
