Cascale has actively followed and contributed to CIRPASS’ stakeholder engagement activities in the past year, including by submitting input through the Policy Hub - an initiative co-funded and co-financed by Cascale. This includes contributions to public consultations on drivers, barriers, opportunities, and challenges in the implementation of the DPP, as well as on the DPP policy recommendations. Cascale will also participate through the Policy Hub in the upcoming public consultation in July on DPP rules for service providers. The Policy Hub actively participates in CIRPASS 2 meetings, both in the general group and in the textiles-specific group. Cascale has also been involved through external partners, such as Textile Exchange, contributing to the DPP information architecture, the DPP system and framework architecture, and DPP-related standards and interoperability. In the context of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), Cascale is contributing independently through its in-house technical expertise to the Joint Research Centre’s (JRC) consultations on the preliminary study for the Delegated Act on textiles. Cascale’s contribution included recommending to the JRC to refer to the methodology and data developed under the PEFCR for Apparel and Footwear, as we continue to advocate for consistency and alignment with existing work. Additionally, Cascale closely follows developments on the Digital Product Passport (DPP) within the Ecodesign Forum, participating in these discussions through its collaboration with the Policy Hub.
