At Travel2Fit, we are committed to actively contributing to the Transition Pathways for Tourism by aligning our innovation-driven approach with the objectives of the twin green and digital transition of European destinations.

We pledge to empower Sustainable and Inclusive Destinations. Over the next five years, Travel2Fit commits to pursue partnering with at least 3 destinations across Greece and the wider EU to co-develop and implement transformative solutions that:

a) Balance seasonality by promoting travel and cultural engagement & activities year-round.

b) Safeguard citizen and visitor well-being by integrating environmental health indicators (including respiratory-linked metrics) into destination planning.

c) Enhance environmental and financial sustainability by providing tools that support data-driven policy-making and operational decisions.

d) Promote stakeholder collaboration and inclusive governance, ensuring that all tourism actors—from local residents to SMEs—can co-create the future of tourism.

e) Ensure accessibility and inclusivity, in alignment with EU values of equality, digital literacy and mobility for all.

Our solutions are designed to benefit not only tourists but also the communities and ecosystems in which they operate:

  • A Smart Cultural Events Calendar that dynamically supports cultural programming and encourages community participation.

  • Regional Demand Forecasting tools that help destinations manage visitor flows intelligently and anticipate infrastructure needs.

  • Environmental Air Quality Index Monitoring Dashboards that link environmental data to public health outcomes, enabling proactive and responsible tourism development.

Travel2Fit welcomes partnerships with DMOs, municipalities, academia, civil society and the private sector to co-create sustainable and resilient destinations. We are committed to continuous learning, stakeholder engagement, and policy alignment to ensure our contributions remain relevant and impactful.
