As far as gender diversity is concerned, Inditex's Nomination Committee has made a constant effort to achieve the highest levels of female representation. In 2022, with five women on the Board, Inditex's target set in 2020 of 40% of women directors out of the total number of board members was exceeded and in 2023 parity between men and women has been achieved in Inditex's highest governing body. With this, Inditex is also above the targets established for the under-represented gender provided for in Directive (EU) 2022/2381 of the European Parliament and the Council of 23 November 2022 on a better gender balance among directors of listed companies and related measures, to be achieved by June 2026, of 33% in relation to non-executive directors or 40% of the total number of directors, regardless of whether they are executive or non-executive. In addition, the percentage of women on Inditex's Board of Directors is above the average for companies in the Ibex 35 index.
