Construction of biogas 0,5 ΜW  units in the town of Elassona. The goal is to create cooperative biogas units, as there are plenty husbandry units in the area and animal waste remains unused. This initiative aims to increase the local wealth, has positive environmental effects and introduces the social economy in the area. The project will be supported by the District of Thessalia, the Municipality of Elassona, the University of Thessaly, local banks and European Union funding.
