Within the objective of FU-TOURISM to support the development of skills and capabilities in sustainable and digital tourism for tourism SMEs, as well as to promote sustainability strategies aligned with territorial needs and priorities, the process of awareness, communication and dissemination intrinsically integrates this issue throughout the entire duration of the project (September 2023-September 2026), both internally and externally.

To achieve this, a communication strategy will be implemented targeting various project stakeholders, including SMEs and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, EU citizens and the general public, related projects and award-winning cities in the field of tourism, as well as other key actors such as public administrations and universities. Planned actions include:

- Broadly communicate project findings among relevant networks, forums, platforms, local/regional/national/EU authorities, and the public.
- European platforms have been identified for dissemination, such as Startup Europe, Startup Europe Awards and Startup Europe Regions Network.
- Active participation in significant events in the tourism sector, such as FITUR. In addition, it intends to apply to participate in the European Week of Regions 2024, 2025 and 2026, both as a featured project during the week and in parallel events. The project seeks to explore and maximize synergies between different events, International Days and European Weeks.
- Ensure that project results are effectively communicated as solutions that will have a lasting and broader impact through expansion and adoption across Europe.
- Generate evidence-based knowledge, which will be translated into guidance and recommendations for EU ecosystems.

Finally, the Tourism Pathway platform will prove to be an essential tool for the communication of project reports and results.
