The Council of the European Union released the fourth review of the Black Sea Synergy initiative in July 2024 which provides an in-depth analysis of the EU’s engagement in the Black Sea region from 2019 to 2023. It covers topics such as sustainable blue economy, fisheries and aquaculture, environmental protection, cross-border cooperation, civil society engagement, education and innovation, and energy and transport.
