The CultMed project (Sustainable Cultural Tourism on the Mediterranean), co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe Programme, is dedicated to promoting sustainable cultural tourism across the Mediterranean by preserving cultural heritage, engaging local communities, and minimising environmental impact. The project is managed by a consortium based in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. It aims to strengthen the skills of professionals and stakeholders in the cultural tourism sector and to facilitate the exchange of best practices across the Mediterranean EU region. Running from October 2024 to September 2027 (36 months), the project will deliver several key outputs, including a Best Practices Report, a Digital Library of Resources, four specialised curricula, a series of workshops, and related events.
