The EnoGastroDEST project, funded by Interreg Europe, aims to preserve and promote viticulture and culinary heritage to develop and enhance wine and gastronomy tourism (WGT) as experiential cultural tourism. Running from May 2025 to July 2029, it focuses on traditional winemaking and culinary heritage, creative industries around food and wine, and experiential tourism activities. Expected outcomes include the development of WGT products and services, increased regional attractiveness and strengthened policies for sustainable cultural tourism.
