The GREENTRAVEL Project, funded by the European Research Council and running from 2023 to 2027, aims to investigate the role of urban greenery in enhancing the health and well-being of residents during their everyday travel in European cities. Coordinated by the University of Helsinki, the project seeks to understand the significance of greenery in travel environments, its availability, and its impact on different groups of people. Ultimately, this project aspires to contribute valuable insights that can inform urban planning and policy for more sustainable and inclusive cities.
