The HECTOR project, funded by the European Union's Internal Security Fund, aims to enhance the protection of European tourism sites. Coordinated by the Hellenic Police, it focuses on fostering cooperation between the private and public sectors to establish security standards and protocols. Running from December 2023 to November 2025, it will create a Security Model Plan for the tourism industry, ensuring the safety and resilience of tourism infrastructure across Europe.
