ReTour (Regenerative Tourism in the Baltic Sea Region) is a three-year project funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme, running from 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2027. Led by Visit Skåne, the initiative brings together six partners from Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, and Sweden to promote regenerative tourism across the Baltic Sea region.

The project focuses on generating ecological, social, and economic value through innovative experiences such as seaweed farming and cultural heritage initiatives. Its activities are organised into four work packages, including joint study visits to explore regenerative practices, pilot testing of tourism offerings, the development of destination positioning principles, and the dissemination of results through tools such as a guide and toolbox.

Ultimately, ReTour aims to explore, test, and share knowledge to develop a replicable model of tourism that benefits both local communities and the natural environment.
