The TOUR-X project, funded by the EU, is a Center of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for the tourism industry, running from 2023 to 2026. It aims to enhance skills provision in the tourism sector through a bottom-up approach, involving education providers, tourism businesses, and regional authorities from seven countries. The project focuses on fostering collaboration, increasing employability, and promoting sustainable and resilient tourism models. By establishing regional partnerships known as Knowledge Triangles in Germany, Greece, Italy, and Spain, TOUR-X seeks to address skills gaps and support regional development in the tourism sector.
