The TRAFO GR project, funded by the European Union through the Interreg Grande Région programme, aims to sustainably transform tourism in the Grande Région by adapting business processes, developing new tourism products, and enhancing the capacity of tourism actors. Coordinated by Tourismus Zentrale Saarland GmbH, it focuses on promoting the region as a desirable tourist destination for nature, cultural experiences, and business (MICE) tourism by conducting a market study and networking. Running from July 2025 to June 2028, its expected outcomes include improved regional positioning and increased opportunities for local businesses (The original piece available only in French).
