The "Turisme for alle" (Tourism For All) initiative, led by Destination Kystlandet and supported by the Danish Board of Business Development, is dedicated to enhancing inclusivity and accessibility within Denmark’s tourism industry for individuals with physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities.

This collaborative project brings together a wide range of partners, including regional tourism destinations, national tourism organisations, NGOs, and accessibility specialists. Launched in autumn 2024 and running through 30 September 2027, the initiative focuses on six core activities: developing a business case for market potential, creating accessibility guidelines, building competencies, fostering product development within clusters, implementing a comprehensive dissemination strategy, and ensuring national integration.

The overarching goal is to unlock new market opportunities while positioning Denmark as a premier destination for accessible tourism—promoting both social inclusion and economic sustainability within the sector (The original piece available only in Danish).
