In recent years CGM has promoted the creation of social economy platforms in order to experiment new business and governance models, particularly for the provision of welfare services, alternatives to the mainstream platforms. Through his tech provider "welfareX" CGM supported the setup of 19 local welfare platforms all over Italy. The pledge of CGM in this field is to sustain the platformisation processes of its social enterprise network and other local and national stakeholders. In the next 2 year the Consortium will invest for the creation of 10 new platforms with new functions (e.g. community energy services) like a part of strategy that consider this model of cooperative platform the "just" (e.g. effective and fair) digital infrastructure for cluster of social and proximity economy.
