Urban Mobility Days (UMD) 2025 is the European Commission’s flagship urban mobility policy conference, providing a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and policy debate among key actors in the mobility ecosystem. The 2025 edition will be held from 30 September to 2 October in Vilnius, Lithuania, the European Green Capital 2025.
Bringing together policymakers, local authorities, urban planners, NGOs, researchers, industry representatives, and the broader public transport community, the conference will dive deep into the EU’s sustainable urban mobility agenda. The event will explore how cities can meet future transport challenges in line with the European Green Deal, smart and sustainable transport strategies, and new EU priorities, such as 'A new plan for Europe’s sustainable prosperity and competitiveness' and 'Supporting people, strengthening our societies and our social model.'
Over the course of three days, UMD 2025 will centre its discussions around three cross-cutting urban mobility topics:
- urban nodes;
- cycling;
- public transport.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions, best-practice exchanges, and collaborative dialogue, with a focus on competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable tourism in urban mobility. Whether you are a transport professional, policymaker, academic, or civil society actor, UMD 2025 is a not-to-miss opportunity to co-create the future of clean, smart, and inclusive transport systems across Europe.
