The Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Programme 2021–2027 aims to foster sustainable and cohesive socioeconomic development in the regions of Klaipėda, Telšiai, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, and Utena in Lithuania, and Kurzeme, Zemgale, and Latgale in Latvia. The program focuses on four main priorities: capacity building and people-to-people cooperation, green and sustainable development, creating a fair and inclusive society, and enhancing the economic potential of tourism and heritage. It supports national, regional, and local public authorities, public equivalent bodies, and NGOs through cross-border partnerships, with a total co-financing of €42,421,961 from the European Regional Development Fund.
