Alternative Fashion Week CPH 2026 is a two-day event dedicated to creativity, sustainability and social responsibility in the fashion and textile sector. Bringing together designers, initiatives and visitors from diverse backgrounds, the event aims to promote new approaches to fashion that prioritise circularity, reuse and responsible practices.
The programme includes fashion shows, workshops, talks, panel discussions and interactive activities exploring different perspectives on design, craftsmanship and sustainability. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover designers working with circular business models and to experience the signature deconstructed catwalk, which combines theatrical elements with contemporary fashion presentations.
Under the theme Class Divide, the 2026 edition encourages reflection on inequality, consumption patterns and the role of fashion in shaping more inclusive and responsible systems. By creating a platform for dialogue and experimentation, the event contributes to ongoing discussions on sustainable transformation and alternative approaches to fashion production and consumption.
