The ECESP will hold its Annual Conference 2026 on 22-23 April in Brussels, under the theme ‘A competitive and fair circular Europe: The ambition at the heart of the single market.’ The two-day event is jointly organised by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and will bring together policy makers, practitioners and stakeholders from across the circular economy community.

The conference will focus on the upcoming Circular Economy Act, with the first day dedicated to policy developments led by the Commission and the second day oriented towards practical implementation, stakeholder dialogue and knowledge sharing organised by the EESC. The new ECESP Coordination Group 2025-2028 will play an active role during sessions, especially on the second day, highlighting its strategic influence on the platform’s work and on shaping discussions that bridge EU policy with on the ground implementation.

As a flagship event in the EU circular economy calendar, the Annual Conference offers an opportunity for participants to connect with peers, share insights on current and future legislation, and explore challenges and opportunities in advancing circularity across sectors and regions.

Further details, including updates and the registration link, will be published on the ECESP platform in the run-up to the event.
