The introduction of the Digital Product Passport marks a significant shift in how textile products are documented, tracked and managed across their lifecycle. As part of the European regulatory framework, DPPs will require companies to provide structured and accessible data on sustainability, traceability and product composition.
With mandatory implementation expected from 2027, organisations across the textile value chain are entering a critical preparation phase. This includes adapting data infrastructures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and exploring new technological solutions to manage product information efficiently.
The EU Textiles Product Passport Conference 2026 will take place on 1 July 2026 at the Valencia Conference Centre in Spain. As a dedicated event on DPP readiness, it brings together industry stakeholders to explore the implications of the upcoming regulation and the opportunities linked to increased transparency and circularity.
The conference programme includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, technical sessions and workshops focusing on regulation, digital solutions and practical implementation. It also provides a platform for exchange between companies, technology providers and decision makers working on compliance and product development in the textile sector.
