SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS, part of KEYHOUSE at MUNICH FABRIC START, provides a platform for material innovations and future-oriented concepts that rethink the textile value chain. The forum brings together designers, researchers, manufacturers and innovators to showcase developments addressing sustainability, circularity and new production approaches.
The 2026 edition will present a range of projects exploring bio-based materials, regenerative systems and alternative manufacturing concepts. The showcased developments range from recyclable and bio-based textiles to solutions that combine textile design with agriculture, energy generation and ecosystem restoration. The focus lies on scalable innovations and practical approaches that support the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient textile industry.
As part of MUNICH FABRIC START, one of Europe’s leading textile trade fairs, the forum offers opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking across the textile ecosystem.
