Life. Spaces. Buildings. The Festival of the New European Bauhaus is back!

From 9 to 13 June 2026, the much-anticipated Festival returns to Brussels for its third edition. This time, it will shine a spotlight on the power of democratic engagement in shaping more inclusive and sustainable communities in Europe and beyond.

Conceived as the main public event of the initiative, the NEB Festival will bring together projects, stakeholders, artists, researchers, policymakers, and citizens for five days of debates, exhibitions, workshops, and artistic performances. Preparations are already underway, as the NEB team is working on creating an inspiring programme that celebrates the diversity and creativity of the NEB Community. 

If you feel that your work can be put into the spotlight during the Festival, you are warmly invited to apply to the three open calls for expression of interest and be part of the next edition of the Festival:

NEB Fair: For laboratories and project showcase (deadline 30 September 2025) 

Why apply: Showcase your work on an international stage, network with potential partners, and benefit from covered travel and accommodation for two persons per exhibitor.

NEB Fest: For cultural and artistic activities (deadline 30 September 2025) 

Why apply: Share your music, theatre, dance, or art installation with a wide audience, with covered travel costs and fair remuneration for selected artists.

NEB Satellite events: To organise parallel events across Europe and the world (deadline 31 December 2025) 

Why apply: Host your own event as part of the Festival in your city, region, or online community. Your event will be featured on the official platform, connecting you to a Europe-wide celebration.

First held in 2022, the NEB Festival is a biennial event that invites people to celebrate and take stock of the progress of the New European Bauhaus, the European Commission initiative that aims to turn the European Green Deal and Clean Industrial Deal into tangible change on the ground, improving daily lives through sustainable solutions for the built environment and lifestyles.
