Build capacity to use HEInnovate
Applications are open for a two-day HEInnovate Train the Trainers session taking place on 8 and 9 October 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.
HEInnovate is an initiative of the Erasmus+ programme, in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. It helps higher education institutions assess and strengthen their entrepreneurial and innovation capacity.
The training is designed for staff from higher education institutions who want to use HEInnovate in their organisation and with their partners. Prior knowledge of HEInnovate is useful, but not required.
What participants will gain
The session will help participants understand the HEInnovate tool, its supporting materials and its strategic use within higher education institutions.
Participants will also learn how to organise workshops in their own institutions, exchange experience with peers and explore how HEInnovate can support institutional goals, leadership and change.
Fully funded places available
The programme will select 30 participants. Registration and participation are free, and travel and accommodation are covered.
Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously attended a Train the Trainers workshop, are linked to one of the 65 European Universities Alliances, and are based in EU Member States.
The selection process will aim to ensure gender and geographical balance, as well as a balanced group in terms of experience, institutional background and motivation.
