The event Scaling Textile Repair and Reuse in European Urban Centres: Systemic Levers is organised within the ECOSYSTEX community in collaboration with the SOLSTICE project. It focuses on exploring how textile repair and reuse can be effectively scaled across European cities, with particular attention to systemic approaches involving cultural, governance, and market-driven levers.

The half-day event will bring together stakeholders working across the textile value chain to examine practical pathways for advancing circular textile systems in urban contexts. The programme includes expert presentations, a high-level panel discussion, and a guided visit to an innovative textile microfactory, offering concrete insights into implementation and real-world applications. It aims to connect research, policy, and industry perspectives to better understand how systemic change can be achieved in textile repair and reuse.

The event will take place on 5 May 2026, from 14:30 to 18:30, as an in-person gathering in Berlin. As part of ongoing efforts to accelerate circularity in the European textile ecosystem, it provides an opportunity for participants to engage directly with emerging solutions and collaborative approaches.
