The event brings together policymakers, innovators, researchers and practitioners to explore how textile reuse and recycling networks can be developed and scaled across Catalonia. Drawing on the SOLSTICE project’s regional study, it highlights opportunities for proximity-based collaboration within the regional textile ecosystem, supporting more circular approaches to textile reuse, repair and recycling.

On 26 November 2026, the SOLSTICE project will bring together policymakers, innovators, researchers and practitioners at Barcelona Circular (BAC) to explore how reuse and recycling networks can be developed and scaled across the Catalan textile ecosystem.

The morning will open with a session introducing the SOLSTICE project and presenting the outcomes of the Catalonia regional study. Estelle Dalod (PhD) from Axel’One and Charlotte Denis from Textile ETP will introduce the project, which works with pilot regions across Europe to scale textile reuse, repair and recycling. Erik Roos Lindgreen (PhD) from Circle Economy will present the study’s key findings on the Catalan textile ecosystem and their implications for strengthening regional reuse and recycling networks. Both presentations will be delivered in English, with Catalan subtitles.

The session will provide an overview of the current state of Catalonia’s textile ecosystem and how SOLSTICE is supporting the transition to circular textiles.
