The webinar Value Chain Collaboration in Public Procurement of Textiles is organised by the Circular Shift project under the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. It focuses on how collaboration across the textile value chain can support the transition towards circular public procurement, particularly in the context of workwear and textile products used by public authorities.

The session will explore the needs and barriers to fostering value chain collaboration in textile procurement, drawing on practical case studies from North-West Europe. These include the development of circular textile products from post-consumer waste in the Netherlands, repair and upcycling of professional workwear in Belgium, and the transformation of workwear into children’s clothing in France. The webinar will bring together perspectives from both public buyers and suppliers, highlighting how coordinated approaches across production, consumption, and waste management can enable more circular outcomes.

The webinar will take place on 13 May 2026, from 10:30 to 12:00 CEST, and will be held online. It provides an opportunity for stakeholders across the textile value chain to gain practical insights into implementing circular procurement strategies through collaboration.
