The ERASMUS-EDU-2026 topic is an open call under the Erasmus+ Programme 2026 initiated by the European Commission to support alliances for sectoral cooperation on skills implementing the Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills. This action is part of the broader alliances for innovation strand, which aims to strengthen cooperation between education and training providers, enterprises and socio-economic stakeholders to tackle skills gaps across key industrial sectors and boost Europe’s innovation capacity. Activities supported under this call are designed to develop strategic skills solutions for labor market needs across specific ecosystems.
Eligible applicants must form transnational consortia covering at least eight EU Member States or associated countries and involving a balanced mix of organisations, including labour market actors (such as companies, chambers or trade unions) and education or training providers (such as higher education institutions and VET providers). Projects should focus on activities such as developing sector-wide skills strategies, occupational profiles, core curricula and training programmes that respond to emerging needs related to digital, green and sustainable transitions across selected industrial ecosystems. Only one proposal per ecosystem can be selected for funding under this call, and partnerships are expected to generate systemic impact on skills provision and competitiveness.
The call is open for submissions, and it will close on 10 March 2026 at 17:00 (Brussels time). Funding is provided as lump sum grants with a total topic budget of approximately €67,000,000, divided across the Alliance topics. Project duration is anticipated to be up to 48 months.
Interested applicants should consult the Erasmus+ Funding & Tenders Portal for detailed eligibility criteria and application procedures.
