The POLREC consortium, under the EU-funded POLREC project supported by the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME), has launched the POLREC Awards 2025 to recognise excellence among European SMEs advancing polymer recycling. The call invites applications in three categories: Innovation, Training & Upskilling, and Internationalisation. The initiative is designed for European SMEs in the polymer industry aiming to lead in recycling technologies, skills development, and international expansion.
The awards aim to celebrate and promote best practices in polymer recycling through targeted recognition in each category. Eligible SMEs must submit a short application (up to three pages, in PDF, in English) using the provided template. Submissions should be sent by email to europe@polymeris.fr, highlighting achievements, impact, and relevance to the selected category. Winners will also present their solutions at a major industry event, offering visibility and networking opportunities.
The POLREC Awards 2025 will recognise three winners, one per category, each receiving a €6,000 prize. Additionally, all winners will be invited to pitch at the POLREC final event on 10 October 2025 at the K Show in Düsseldorf, where the audience will select a ‘favourite pitch’ to receive an extra €2,000.
The submission deadline is 25 September 2025, 17:00 CET. For more information, visit the European Cluster Collaboration Platform.
