TCLF LSP Progress Report 2025
The TCLF Skills Alliance, the Pact for Skills partnership for Europe’s textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries, continued to strengthen skills cooperation across Europe in 2025.
Since its establishment in 2021, members’ activities have contributed to 232,213 people benefiting from upskilling and reskilling, €514 million invested in skills, 4,779 training courses developed or updated, and 2,744 stakeholders joining skills networks.
The Alliance has also grown significantly, reaching 216 members in 2025, while expanding cooperation between industry, education and training providers, research organisations, public authorities and regional partners.
Key developments include the implementation of METASKILLS4TCLF, AEQUALIS4TCLF and TCLF SkillBridge, progress towards a TCLF Skills Observatory, stronger cooperation through the ECOSYSTEX Skills & Education Working Group, and the rollout of Regional Skills Partnerships across Europe.
Looking towards 2030, the TCLF Skills Alliance supports the objective of having 20% of the ecosystem workforce—approximately 300,000 workers—participate in upskilling or reskilling activities every year.
The 2025 results demonstrate growing momentum towards a more skilled, competitive, inclusive and resilient TCLF ecosystem, with technical, advanced digital and green skills remaining key priorities for the sector. Learn more about the results in the 2025 progress report
