What it is

EFN is organised around three pillars: Formazione (practical courses taught by industry insiders), Visione (short 3 to 5 minute videos sharing perspectives on where the sector is heading) and Comunicazione (an open forum for questions, resources and connections between members). A public directory lets members find each other by role, company and region.

How it started

The network began with an invite-only founder model: 100 professional founding slots, offered free for life in exchange for a content contribution and a 50 percent revenue share on any course the founder publishes. Demand exceeded the original slots, and the founder community now numbers over 100 professionals from companies across the Italian fashion and manufacturing supply chain, including product managers, designers, supply chain and production specialists, CEOs, sustainability and compliance professionals, and AI consultants.

Launch on 25 August 2026

The network opens to paying members at 19 euro per month or 190 euro per year, with a 7-day free trial. The course catalogue at launch is being built directly from the founders' own professional expertise rather than commissioned separately, spanning product development, supply chain, production and manufacturing, sales and export, brand and retail, and sustainability and regulation (including the EU Digital Product Passport and the AI Act). The launch is being followed live via a public LinkedIn event: Echo Fashion Network — live event, 25 August 2026.

How the network is moving

As of the launch, the founder base spans several Italian regions, with the strongest concentrations in Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Toscana. The stated ambition for the following weeks is to grow from the founder base toward a wider paying membership, prioritising direct outreach and founder-led content over broad advertising.

Why it matters for the ecosystem

EFN addresses a gap the Transition Pathway also identifies: individual companies can build AI skills and governance internally, but professionals in a fragmented, largely SME-based supply chain often have no cross-company peer network to compare notes with. EFN is a bottom-up, practitioner-built response to that gap, complementing company-level initiatives (such as structured AI governance programmes) with a sector-wide professional community.
