Finnish Textile & Fashion (Suomen Tekstiili & Muoti) is the central organisation representing textile, clothing and fashion companies in Finland. The employers’ association has more than 200 member companies and works to promote the industry’s success, supporting businesses in their growth, internationalisation and development in a changing global market.
The organisation represents its members in industry discussions and decision-making, provides platforms for cooperation and advocacy, and represents employers in collective agreement negotiations. It also supports companies through training, legal counselling, product and chemical safety information, standardisation guidance, and information on business models and funding opportunities. Its work includes sharing developments in the textile circular economy and strengthening innovation and creativity across the sector.
Finnish Textile & Fashion also builds international connections through cooperation with European and Nordic industry organisations, including EURATEX, the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing, and the Nordic Fashion Association. Its network spans companies working in areas such as clothing, home textiles, raw materials, technical textiles and industrial nonwovens, supporting collaboration and the development of the Finnish textile and fashion industry.
