The European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) has opened the 2026 MEETINGPACK awards call for applications, inviting companies, organisations, networks and initiatives to submit nominations that highlight excellence and innovation in circular packaging. The awards recognise tangible contributions to reducing packaging waste and advancing circular design, reuse, waste prevention and recycling solutions across Europe.

Applications are open to enterprises and organisations of all sizes, including start-ups, SMEs and large companies, as well as cross-sector partnerships. Entries can be submitted under multiple award categories, such as Best Reuse Solution, Best Design for Recycling, Best Business Model, Policy and Governance Initiative, and People’s Choice. Nominations must demonstrate measurable impact, scalability, sustainability benefits and alignment with circular economy principles.

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 March 2026, and shortlisted nominees will be invited to present their solutions at the MEETINGPACK event later in 2026, where winners will be announced. The awards aim to raise awareness of effective circular packaging practices and inspire broader adoption of circular design and business approaches throughout European value chains.
