The European Innovation Council (EIC) has announced that 61 start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been selected to receive funding and support under the EIC Accelerator programme in the latest round of awards. The selected companies represent a range of sectors and have demonstrated high potential for breakthrough innovation and scalability.
The EIC Accelerator, part of the broader Horizon Europe framework, aims to help ground-breaking innovations progress from concept to commercialisation by providing blended finance, including grants and equity investment. In this round, successful applicants secured support to advance their technologies, grow their businesses and bring new solutions to market. By fostering innovation and competitiveness, the programme contributes to EU strategic priorities including sustainable digital transformation, climate neutrality and industrial leadership.
The announcement lists the newly supported organisations and outlines their focus areas, showcasing the diversity of innovations that the EIC Accelerator seeks to propel. Beneficiaries will join a community of EIC backed innovators and gain access to investor networks, business acceleration services and strategic market support offered by the EIC ecosystem.
