The European Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS) have launched the third edition of the #ForOurPlanet campaign on 22 April 2025, coinciding with World Earth Day. Under the motto ‘Big changes often start small,’ the campaign calls on citizens and organised civil society to take action for nature and the planet by embracing circular economy practices.

This year’s campaign emphasises the importance of reducing waste, reusing products, and repairing items to promote sustainability. Individuals are encouraged to participate in activities such as sharing tools, repairing household items, and organising community events like repair cafés and clothes swaps. These actions aim to demonstrate that individual efforts can collectively contribute to a more sustainable and efficient EU economy.
