The call, focused on digitised local-for-local textile and apparel production, saw strong interest from universities, research institutes, SMEs and industry players.
With €10 million available and individual requests of up to €5 million, only two projects are expected to be selected. The total funding requested by applicants reached €165 million, highlighting the urgency of innovation in the textile sector.
