UNECE Stakeholder Forum for Textiles Data Interoperability

The UNECE Stakeholder Forum for Data Interoperability (Textile Stakeholder Forum) is a global multi-stakeholder platform established under the UNECE Team of Specialists on Environmental, Social and Governance Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains in the Circular Economy (ToS). It brings together policymakers, brands and retailers, suppliers, technology providers, standards organizations, NGOs, multi-stakeholder initiatives and researchers to advance interoperable approaches to traceability and sustainability data.

The Textile Stakeholder Forum seeks to improve the accessibility, reliability and comparability of value chain data in textile value chains by reducing fragmentation, aligning data requirements and supporting the adoption of common standards and practices. It provides a neutral space for stakeholders to align approaches, build consensus, and advance the deployment of the United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP). In doing so, it helps organizations prepare for emerging regulatory requirements while reducing duplication and implementation costs.
