The Finnish Textile & Fashion association strives to increase the knowledge and know-how of the Finnish textile industry on traceability, transparency and the proposed Digital Product Passport, by conducting multidisciplinary cooperation, participating in studies and projects, and involving textile industry companies in this work.

In 2023–2024, the Finnish Textile and Fashion association carried out the most extensive domestic pilot to date on preparing for the Digital Product Passport as part of the 'Digital Transformation in the Fashion Industry' project. Ten business pilots on digital product passports for the textile industry completed by July 2024. (Results presented on report available here). A handbook for the industry will be compiled based on the findings of the pilot projects.
