Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine signed a cooperation agreement with a training centre (OPCO 2i) that will deliver training for companies in the leather and textile sectors. This territorial partnership between OPCO2i and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region provides support in analysing and defining skills requirements to meet the strategic challenges facing companies, as well as financial support for the implementation of training initiatives. Between 2020 and 2024, a total of 140,000 € will be subsidised for 35 companies and 320 trainees. The partnership was renewed in 2025.
