The Partnership for Sustainable Textiles and its members are committed to providing access to effective grievance mechanisms and remedy for individuals who may be affected by adverse impacts in textile supply chains. The Partnership does not operate its own industry-wide grievance system. Instead, it aims to strengthen and align with existing mechanisms to promote harmonisation across the sector and avoid duplication. To this end, the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles has established a long-term collaboration with the Fair Wear Foundation, enabling member companies to use Fair Wear’s effective grievance mechanism in eight countries. In addition, through four Partnership Initiatives, various member companies have been supported in establishing or expanding grievance mechanisms in numerous factories across different production countries.
